DJI USA Pros & Cons
Pros
1
Free Shipping over $35, enabling quick access to high-quality DJI drones, gimbals, mics, and action cams.
2
Reliable Shopping: US-based stock ensures fast, guaranteed delivery with warranty and authenticity, plus constant customer support.
3
Product Advantages: Advanced sensing (omnidirectional obstacles, nightscape), long flight times (up to 46 mins), superior imaging (4K/60fps HDR, 100MP), and smart features (palm takeoff, RTH precision) for pro-level capture without hassle.
4
Official US DJI Store: Serves as the primary authorized retailer for DJI drones and accessories in the United States, ensuring genuine products with standard warranties.
5
Direct Access to Products: Provides easy purchasing of high-capability drones at competitive price points, unmatched by US competitors.
CONS
1
Impending US Ban Impact: DJI products face a likely ban effective December 23, 2025, potentially halting new sales, warranty support, and US-based repairs through djiusa.com.
2
App and Software Restrictions: Post-ban, official DJI apps may become unavailable on US app stores; sideloading from the website (possible for Android) carries security risks and limits functionality.
3
Service Disruptions: Refresh plans and official repairs could end, affecting hobbyists, professionals, and commercial pilots reliant on DJI gear.
4
Replacement Challenges: No viable US alternatives match DJI's performance-to-price ratio, impacting photographers, videographers, and Part 107 pilots.
